I've been reading alot lately about how the economy works. Man I'm telling you its a HEADACHE. Investing your money has lots of risks involved and you really have to be educated and informed.

The whole subject of economics is really a very interesting and debatable field. As far as investing money is concerned, you would SURELY gain interest in a high savings account or a GIC. Very small. Anywhere from 2-5% increase. But if you wanna take risks, try figuring out this whole stocks vs bonds vs mutual fund vs precious metals.

I really wanna invest my money. Because anyone with half a brain can see the increased gas and food prices. Anyone with half a brain can notice the decreased purchasing power of their money and how their wages are not keeping up with inflation (which is debatable between 3-12% depending on the source) unless they're unionized.

Anyway, based on my research, I'm somewhat convinced of buying GOLD and SILVER BULLION instead of paper investments (mutual funds, stocks, etc.) or sticking my savings in a savings account. Why? Because paper money is FIAT money that isnt backed by gold or silver. And if you look at the charts, you would see a consistent rise in value of Gold and Silver.

@trevoramueller - with the right amount of diet and exercise. Its all possible.

@Black Daisy, magickmaker - I couldnt blame them though. As its not completely their fault that they've been brainwashed. It takes some sophistication to get past the initial gutfeel reaction of getting angry and hating em right away. As well as seeing through techniques people use to brainwash/manipulate you. In this comic, you've seen some of such tricks in the prologue and in chapter 3 with "mr. demon rat"… and in Chapter 4 with Liana.

No I'm not claiming to be an expert in manipulation techniques. Because I'm still weak and vulnerable to manipulation. And its actually pathetic when you know you're being manipulated and still fall for it.

@ghostrunner - I like to share my philosophy cuz everyone has the right to information. But I dont force it. Whether you believe it in its entirety, or believe parts of it, or totally reject it as BS, its up to you. I respect the freedom of choice.
