Rant of the Day

I just feel like I can't keep up with the script I write. Cuz as of now I have a rough idea of how the prologue for MAHAL KO (my love) the 3rd "book" in this series will look like. As well as the general outline of its plot.

Though I feel that I gotta tweak alot of later chapters of MAG-ISA. To sort of tie it up with planned future installments of this series.

Anyway, so far part of the setting of MAHAL KO is gonna be set many years (I'm not sure if its hundreds of thousands or even millions) in the past. While most of you might be all too familiar with the conventional view of history, this one has gonna have the basic premise that the human species has been around waaayyy longer than what mainstream science acknowledges. And with a technologically superior civilization.

This isnt gonna be about Atlantis or Lemuria but on some fictional planet (inhabited by humans and reptilians) that has a world government that is run like a militaristic police state. Where the gap is obvious in the social order. The elite and the slave class have OBVIOUS physical differences to tell them apart.

Only members of the elite (or the highly brainwashed military units) have access to the advanced knowledge that gives them super powers and special abilities commonly found in the science fiction and fantasy. You know the deal… super speed, super strength, manipulation of elements (fire, wind, ice, water, metal, etc.).

While on the other hand, the commoners are kept in total ignorance through endless propaganda and live in cramped high rise buildings or shanty houses while desperately struggling to make ends meet. In some cases, they are totally in denial and would think you're crazy if you talk about special powers.

Munting Tinig (Small Voices) - about life in a poor remote village.
Anak Ng Kumander (Son of the Commander) - Political themes. About the communist insurgency in the Philippines but loaded with action.
Spirit of the Glass - Horror and love story at the same time.
Pagtatapat ng Mangkukulam (Confessions of a Witch) - Documentary and REAL horror.
Grease Gun Gang, Carnap King, Manila Boy, Barumbado - Awesome "gangster" themed movies.

I might post up future reccomendations as I watch more of those films. :)
