Rant of the Day

Hello everyone… I've noticed that alot of you actually read the rants I post up here. :)

Today's rant is about MIND CONTROL. I've came across a few articles and books discussing this. And one of the techniques described is something called LOVE BOMBING. Its all about showering the target with love and affection for a period of time (up to 18 months) then withdrawing the love after that period.

And aside from withdrawing the love, replace it with coldness and cruelty. Thus confusing the target and creating a situation for the target to become depressed and potentially break down.

In a broken down state, the target's mind becomes more open to suggestion and ideas. Creating a possibility for a mind-controlled slave or assassin. If folllowed up with the right kind of indoctrination.

I know what a broken down state feels like. Its horrible. But on the other hand, a broken down state can force you to examine yourself more closely and can make you more spiritual. No wonder I've noticed that many people who "found Jesus" found him when they were at a broken down mind state.

Anyway, mind-control is gonna be one of the themes that later chapters of this comic will focus on. As well as how it can work together with the doctrine of problem-reaction-solution.

@SarahN - I remember landing 3 consecutive hits and backing him into a corner of the ring. When he was able to escape (because I was gassing out already) I got my ass kicked. :(

@magickmaker - thanks for putting that cameo. Next time I need cameos I'll look at your comic. :)

@mlai - you actually read through 150+ pages and didnt get bored? wow. Anyway I see what you mean about the glorification of angst and all this dark hero stuff. You know, to me it seems like a form of mass mind control by the social engineers of this planet. As to why, I'm not sure. It could be for the creation of cadres of psychopaths that could eventually be useful in the armed forces or as mind-controlled assassins to be activated at any moment.

Or it could be to create more negativity in this world for the benefit of Satan and other negative entities (I dunno if you believe in that but I think thats the case) because those negative beings feed on negative energy. Misery, hate, violence, sorrow, fear… are like how food is to you or gasoline is to a car. And ironically speaking, before I got into all this research, I remember when I was writing the script for Brood Knight that somewhere I mentioned that its fear, hatred and the same negativity that gives power to a Brood Knight. As if I somehow came across that knowledge without reading anything. Also for some strange reason, I feel that there is a consciousness out there that is feeding me ideas for MAG-ISA. (man… im such a weirdo… lol)

And btw, that crit of my work is much appreciated.

@Aussie_kid - I could never smack around anyone for no reason. But if its in self-defense I'd have no problem with it. Doesnt matter. Man, woman, child, old, young, white, black, brown, yellow, blue, green… heh you got the idea.
