Rant of the Day

I've been wondering lately if its a good idea to change careers or something. Cuz you know, I got 2 jobs and its stressful.

I'm thinking… if maybe I should just go drive trucks or do construction or building maintenance. I like driving, I have the patience to work on something for hours, I prefer working alone, I have a high tolerance for boredom, I like working with my hands and repairing stuff.

I heard that those jobs pay well and only need a few months of training to be ready for the job. But since every job has its negatives, the negative side of construction is the risk for serious injury or death, and you coming home just dead tired and straight to bed since you're too tired to do anything anymore. IT IS HARD PHYSICAL WORK!!!

For truck driving, I heard that the well-paying jobs are the ones that require you to cross the border and be on the road for days or weeks at a time. Your main enemy is gonna be boredom and you can't afford to fall asleep or else it can cost you your life. And while you can be a careful driver, what about those other assholes on the road? What if you end up in an accident? Though if you do get that kind of job, if lets say you're on the road this week, next week you're off.

Anyway, the point is… I got a fuckin dead end job and I want career advancement. I want to live in a decent house. And also I'm still not sure if I'm gonna drive trucks or make buildings. It really really annoys me that I don't know what the fuck exactly am I gonna do in life. Cuz really… I'm the type of person who is just versatile and interested in a bit of everything. With no focused point whatsoever. Man I feel stupid.

@Nyx - I actually googled that comic. Looks cool. But I'd like to tell everyone that this is the first time I saw that comic and Fr. Jose's character was no way influenced by that.

@Senretsu - you know what, that would be good to address the shortage of priests that various Christian churches are experiencing. That would be cool. Inspire a whole new generation of kids to want to be a priest.
