@worstcase , Walrus - I dont know about that. God knows. I don't have a crystal ball here to see into the future. lol

@BlkKnight, trevoramueller, JeanSeishin - yep. you guessed it.

@magickmaker - Not really. Both fields have their pros and cons. Though as far as truck driving is concerned, it is a less physically demanding job. Even if its gonna be part of your job to unload the truck. Cuz I volunteered before in constructing houses for the poor and ONE day.. it was really tiring (but rewarding experience). And that was back then when my body was in better shape.

Anyway IF I were to finally decide that truck driving is for me, I'd prefer to start my career driving the small trucks and doing short runs. Because its no joke to be driving for 10 hours straight and my body needs to get used to driving for long distances. As what truckers say: "Trucking isn't a job. Its a lifestyle".

@krisikas - thanks.

@Akki333 - he got out all right.

@Peipei - poison gas.

@ghostrunner - Electrical is one of the things I never was interested in. I remember going to sleep ALL THE TIME when electricity got discussed in science class. For electronic repair, over here that kind of job pays peanuts. Especially when I'm just gonna start. If I'll start, I'd be getting paid slightly above minimum wage working in some cheap employee-abusing retail store.

Anyway, being a former retail worker, I must say that because of what I've experienced, its been DRILLED INTO MY HEAD to BOYCOTT THE "BIG BOX" STORES (whenever possible) and support the small businesses!!!

Btw I'd like to reccommend the movie called "Wal Mart: The high cost of low prices".

@patoborracho - What can you do… you gotta have a "real job" to pay the bills. If you start as an industrial engineer, at least you'd have money to pay the bills and buy yourself some nice musical instruments. Then make it like a 2nd job. Play the piano in the bar or in the hotel lobby.

Because I'm telling you. I had a friend in college who was part of a band that would play in bars… and after a year they just messed it up (band went down). Last thing I heard from him (about 2 years ago), he's working in some minimum wage retail job struggling even harder because he got a bit of a drug problem, went to jail a few times for public drunkenness and getting into bar fights, and has shit relationship with his family.

@JustNoPoint - Its not gonna be pretty.
