The swine flu can mean (among many others):

1) emergency powers (aka MARTIAL LAW). This is an actual WHO document and do a search for "emergency power".

2) Getting the government an excuse to do mass cullings of animals used by farmers as a source of livelihood.

3) Mass Vaccinations. Violating the freedom of choice of the individual.

4) Economic effects. Worsening of economic crisis and loss of more jobs.

@Jonko - incorporating ideologies takes alot of reading. I pretty much read anything and I work in a media related field.

@patoborracho - glad you liked PATAWA. It updates sporadically because its not all the time that I come up with something funny. Writing comedy is my weak point. I'm more into the serious stuff.
I swear… if I hijack a cheesy boob-riddled anime like Cutie Honey, its gonna lose alot of its fans who love the normal magical-girl stuff. Just watching a few of its episodes and I already got a fanfic plot in mind. lol
