Rant of the Day

I got another project in the planning stages that's in the works. Its about the beginning of the 3rd world war. However a few things:
- Its not a war between nation-states. Its not like WW2 where there's axis and allies or something like that.

- It begins with a civil war breaking out in the USA. The cause could be anything. From abolishing the 2nd amendment of the constitution (or the entire constitution for that matter) therefore having mass gun-confiscations. To a staged nuclear / chemical / biological attack that will enable a declaration of martial law.

- Then, foreign troops under the UN flag are brought in to suppress the rebels. The foreign troops are from a whole variety of nations and the Philippines has a contingent in that multi-national force.

- The USA rebels don't have one centralized command structure. They're a loose collection of militia groups with various ideologies. However, they're demonized as if all of them are racist white supremacists. They're not rag-tag either because they've got fighters who were former Delta Force, Green Berets, Navy Seals, etc. The militias also have women and children (as long as you know how to shoot you're fine) as fighters.

- As order of society collapses, small fiefdoms spring up in the once big cities that are usually divided along racial and religious lines. Most likely its the gangs that will take over. Or maybe they will all be totally independent and try to form their own constitution, military force (a ragtag militia probably comprised of ex-gang members and people with military experience from the countries they immigrated from), etc.

- Meanwhile, wars continue and intensify in other parts of the world. The middle east, africa, asia, south america, everywhere. Even places like Canada, Switzerland, and Australia aren't safe. The people are out either peacefully protesting or doing violent riots. While the governments are becoming more and more like a police state.

- Maybe the "sci-fi" elements would be introduced. Like psychic commandos, reptilians, grays, secret high-tech weapons, crazy natural disasters, etc.

- Maybe the "bad guys" are gonna win in the end. A New World Order shall emerge. You know, Ordo ab Chao


But I dunno. A story of that magnitude requires ALOT of research. And it sounds too broad to actually get to focus on certain characters. Also, that kind of story can be modified into a fantasy-type setting. Just like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings.

@Walrus - the 1st thing you should do is develop concentration. Get a candle and focus on the flame for an hour (ideally but for a beginner, 10 minutes or even 5 minutes is good). Do not move. Breathe slowly. Relax. Do not think of anything except the flame and the surrounding environment. Try this exercise and see how it goes for you.

And if Eman falls, he'd be dead or heavily injured. From Lucia's perspective, simply saving him is less troublesome than letting him fall and doing psychic surgery on him to stitch up those broken bones.

@patoborracho - thanks for the crit. Yeah I guess that would have looked more realistic if the forearm was vertical. The pencilled art was actually like that but I just erased it to make it look like its current form. Cuz I wanna find a way to showcase Lucia's abilities. I dunno if I made her look too strong. She really is suppose to have a certain degree of super strength but not THAT strong.

On a scale of 1-10, she should be at a 4. (2 is average human strength. 1 is 90 lb weakling)
