So who's the prettier girl? Lucia (brown hair) or Claudita (red hair)?

Anyway this is Pato's fanart that he sent me. And I colored it.

I had to modify my coloring methods a bit to match Pato's art style. I think though that we make a good team if he does the lineart and I do the coloring.

@Necromortise - most of the communist rebels join only because they need food in their stomach and need to provide for their families because of a lack of job opportunities because they're uneducated.

Its easy to get them on your side. All you need to do is go to a remote village and give free food, books, medicine, offer to help build a house or help with the farm, etc. And once you build the rapport, its time to show them that communism is the solution to their problems. Because they associate you with being the good guy, they'll believe you when you say communism is the way to go and to hell with capitalism and the "puppet of the USA" Philippine government. And then sooner or later, the town is under communist control. With their own police, set of laws (for some reason, taxes are too high and too many things are punishable by death), etc…

But there are exceptions as always. The commie rebels have their share of educated, intelligent people in their ranks. Some are only after power. Some really believe their own kool-aid as a result of misguided patriotism and disgust with government corruption. I wonder. Commies hate globalization. Commies call themselves "patriots". But Marx, Lenin, Mao, Stalin, etc. are not even Filipino!!! And communist domination of the planet is a form of globalization!!! Didn't they even read their history? Communism killed more people than Hitler!!!

And btw I saw your comment on my other comic, BK[Shattered Hate]. I'm glad you liked it… though that comic is old. hehehe. :)

@SarahN - MAG-ISA has 5 or 6 more chapters to go.
