@maycroft - there's no symbolic reason to that. The reason is purely artistic. I just wanted an effective way to portray "dark" energy. I've used purple in my old comic called Brood Knight in order to depict Cedrick's energy field.

@SoniaCBU - If you were to ask me though, I have more trust on the preachers that preach out in the street or run their ministry on the internet or run it out of their basement or living room because they are alot less controlled on what they can and cannot say. I notice that its mostly those preachers who talk about the New World Order and don't worry about what the general public would think of them. Think about it. If your church isn't all about making a "feel good" sermon, do you expect your church to be packed? And a church that has a building has a high maintenance co$t. To meet that high co$t, you must therefore rely on the feeling$ of the people. You cant make them feel all scared as you preach about Revelation or going to Hell or the New World Order. You have to make them happy and talk only about "Jesus loves you no matter what and he's gonna save you JUST BECAUSE you believe in him" ad infinitum.

I would recommend you though to listen to Pastor Russ Dizdar (he has hundreds of hours of mp3 sermons at shatterthedarkness.net). Though I dont agree with everything he says (I have personally emailed and debated him), I have respect for the man. He's hardcore when it comes to being anti New World Order and talking about Satan. But he's more like a Christian unificationist who believes that Christian factions should stop fighting each other and instead focus on SATAN. While he would criticize Satanism, Islam, Atheism, and Eastern spirituality (New Age, Paganism, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc.) he does it in such a way that he reaches out his hand to them in a FRIENDLY way. He is fierce in criticizing the belief but not the adherent. He hates the sin but not the sinner.

@Walrus - in fairness to my critics, its the posts on my blog that got criticized this time. However, you're right when you say that they're trying to paint a picture of me wherein I am this drug addicted foaming at the mouth psycho who hates women and is a violent terrorist whose driving ideology is the philosophy of the fictional cult in this comic known as "The Order". Maybe as a joke, I'd draw a caricature that fits that description and put a label "self portrait". lol

And by the way, I'm not really "well educated". I took college and university courses and kept on shifting direction – mainly art and computer science. I dropped out of college after becoming "semi-awake". All the political correctness, unfairness, and discouragement of critical thinking in the post-secondary institutions got me depressed (I mean this as clinical depression). When I dropped out, I had this gutfeel that something is wrong but I didn't know what it is exactly that is wrong with the system.

So officially, my level of education is "some college and university". Most of the ideas you see me discuss in my rants, blog, or in this comic is a result of self-education. Click my profile and read the links on the left hand side if you are interested in self-educating yourself.

@Sariling Mundo - You can debate all day and cite bible verses explaining that Catholics aren't Christian… and same thing vice versa. The point is, as long as you aren't infringing upon the rights of others, I have no problem with your religion.
