In an effort to improve my art, I've decided to do some sketching from an anatomy book. Unfinished. Just to show everyone more or less my process. :)

@Genejoke - Your post reminds me of a documentary about transhumanism (this interrelates with eugenics and evolution theories as well… read the books of the Huxleys, Darwins, etc.) that I watched. In it, there was a computer program invented by a scientist that had "organisms" in it that are programmed to evolve if certain conditions get fulfilled. Of course, the program is written in such a way that it incorporates Darwin's theories of evolution. After awhile, there were "organisms" that evolved into snake-like creatures… and others that evolved things that can serve as "legs" or something like that. I think the documentary is called "TECHNOCALYPSE". Not sure of the title but it was a documentary that posed really interesting ideas like:
- what is the next step on the evolution of man?
- will man merge with machine?
- will artificial intelligence suddenly gain awareness and evolve faster than humans and therefore make humans into slaves?

While scientists think that such a program provides proof of the theory of evolution, the point is, that program was still WRITTEN by a PROGRAMMER.

For arguments sake, lets say all the theories of evolution are true. If certain conditions happen, organisms would then evolve in order to adapt to the conditions and environment. However, who is the PROGRAMMER of the "code"? Who makes the "rules"? Logic dictates that there must be something out there that wrote the program. Who is it that programmed evolution into the species?

Also, is there only one universe? How sure are you that this is the only universe we live in? In other universes, do the same laws of gravity, physics, biology, chemistry, etc. still apply?

- why are they doing it? Cuz they want to prove something, right? If they are still in the process of testing the hypothesis and gathering data, that means they're unsure. So only time will tell.

As of this point, I find it hard to accept that this world is all there is after going through ALOT of spiritual experiences that cannot be explained away as "its all in your head". I just know that there is something out there that is far greater than us.
