Quicksilver - oh… you're still here.  I miss your doctoral dissertation posts!!!  Now to address your points…

1)  Re:  Canadian issues?
Yes I'm Canadian.  We more or less have the same issues as USA except the only difference being, is Canada takes it from a leftist / liberal perspective (with few exceptions… yours truly… is more conservative-leaning).  We know that our politicians are Bilderberg shills. 

And the reason a good number of my rants focus on America is because what happens there tends to get copied in other parts of the world.  America and Britain.  Those two nations seem to be what the rest of the world decides to copy.

2)  Re:  Depression
I have recovered from it, yes.  But the realization of certain truths has done permanent things as far as my overall outlook in life and my mind operates. 

Yes that numbness you described hits it on the head.  I assume you've been through something similar?  And you speak of negative emotions?  Yes.  That is correct.  Been through that phase. 

I know there is the reality of the darkness.  This darkness likes to replicate itself and spread and infect people like a virus.  It seeks to extinguish the light.  But it has failed to extinguish that light in me (but it will keep on trying again and again and again until the day I die).  And I came out stronger.  If there is one thing I agree with Nietzsche on… is when he said "what doesnt kill you makes you stronger"

As to what truths these are?  I will not talk about them in detail in here…  but I'll clue you in…  with this youtube channel:

I know you dont believe in God and Jesus and all that.  In your case though, take the meat and throw away the bones.

And since I know you are more of a scientific-type person, study Milton Erickson, Richard Bandler, etc. in depth. 

And lastly, I appreciate your concern.
