Pipo - yep… thats its intended effect.  to sound like a printer.  As thats just whats happening.  He's "printing" himself into this reality.  Thats all part of the advanced technology these bad guys have.  :)
Walrus - they'd always be nameless and faceless in this comic.  Cuz youre not suppose to know who is really the one behind… pulling the strings and manipulating reality… :)
