See. She hates salesmen. Such a useful statement, I'm sure. As you may have gathered, the likelyhood of a random at the help desk knowing the person mort is looking for is probably small, but despite it's size, the citizens of this city are actually a fairly tightly connected bunch. Most people know one another, and Verity just happens to be a friend of this help desk girl. XD
