I had found a banner of Britney Spears that was posed & cropped in such a way as it looked like she was bare-bottomed (it was actually just her folded leg) and I posted this on the newsgroup because I figured it was an interesting example of how one thing can be made to look like another. Well, this started a big old discussion about Britney, evaluations of her "talent", a likely future career (pornstar IIRC) &, oddly enough, the Olsen Twins. All of which caused one artist to complain how Britney was getting all this discussion while artists who were posting art were hardly getting any comments about their work whatsoever.
