The Other Cyclops

Recently some archeologists I've sponsored have made an amazing discovery, an earlier version of The Odyssey by Homer that includes Odysseus's encounter with a second cyclops!

Of course, other archeologists are jealous & are discounting the discovery for trivial reasons!

When the handwriting expert said it looked the Homer's handwriting they just laughed.

Carbon dating proved it was 5000 years old. They claimed carbon dating is a scientific test, not a guy named Carbon noticing that Homer had written 3000 BC on the document.

They did admit that papyrus does yellow with age, but that it usually isn't lined.

Hmph! They're just jealous! Wait'll they see the next discovery, the actual pottery used by Helen of Troy to christian boats! Yes, we've discovered the vase that launched a thousand ships!
