So I flew on Northwest Airlines to get from Dallas/Ft. Worth to Minneapolis/St. Paul. huh… I swear it was like flying in a Greyhound with wings. It was tiny. It was cramped. It was four rows of seats divided in half by an aisle. I swear I almost wished I’d driven up! Good thing the flight crew was so friendly.
Let’s dial back a bit to when I first checked in. They charge me $15 to check my bag because it’s too big for carryon. Fine. The worst part about that is how they still charge that. The original reason for starting this charge was to offest the cost of fuel. Fuel. Fuel which has dropped about $1.50 since it was initiated. To make things WORSE: I get to the boarding area and they’re taking over-sized luggage (such as rolley bags) and placing them in another compartment of the plane. I NEVER HAD TO CHECK IT!
