In the comics how many times did Batman have to go catch the Joker after he escaped? How many people died because Batman would not kill the clown prince of crime? Lex Luthor should have been finished by Superman early on. The new movie addresses this nicely I think. Although it is not Luthor this time. I am kind of examining what I think would happen in a world where supervillians kept getting second chances. These are smart guys and gals give them too many chances and restrict yourself too much you are going to eventually lose!
