Lest anyone forget Hindu Kush is just an apprentice and she has much to learn. On the reaper side of her life she is pretty wealthy in spirit currency. But she needs a replacement at least as good as Dandy’s old top hat, and apparently they ain’t cheap.
Soul cookies are a necromancer’s ace in the hole. They can only be baked in the mortal realm and no mortal could or should eat them but reapers can’t resist them. It can give the Necromancer ten to fifteen minutes of grace. So Hindu Kush learned a lesson in her chosen craft today and tomorrow she will learn to bake cookies..
