I figure that during the emergency the nursery was transferred aboard the Fortress. Lana asked if their new ward could hang out in the nursery while Lana, HK, Sierra Nevada, and Cinala could figure out what they were going do with poor Xabi. Of course we all know that Topaz Ironkeel is not at all what she seems. She is a little bit on the back foot with Xabi and his non-corporeal sister not having been foretold.
