Have you ever been somewhere and some random person walks up and greets you like a long lost friend? He or she asks about your family and seems to know what everyone is up to. Then they leave with a jaunty wave and an admonishment to stay in touch. During this exchange you make intelligent replies like “uhhh” and “yeah”, “fine” and so forth. See you haven't a clue who they are and would have swore in a court of law that you never saw that person in your life. Well it’s happened to me several times and I can tell you, I truly hate it.
