Slow Cooker Magic

Windy’s weather magic is slow. At least for the big stuff she reads the weather and manipulates it. Pushes and prods the atmosphere to do her bidding. It doesn’t take a lot of energy that way. Stormy watched how Windy made the ship killer storm and figured out how to apply the slow low mana consuming magic to her own discipline. Cuda is a teenager he is always hungry.
I was once assigned TDY to the Coast Guard Cutter Eagle at the Academy. I talked to on of the cooks during lunch and she told me that underway they found that they had to serve the permanent party crew before the cadets. She said those teenagers would eat everything. If they were allowed to eat first, the crew would starve. That’s what I thought about while drawing Cuda.
