Gathering Pure Arcana

In this world, casting very powerful spells requires an incantation (mental, verbal, or using gestures, or a combination of the 3), regeants for some spells, and a physical focus, such as a staff. However, using pure Arcana also takes many years of research and practice, making such a thing inaccessible to almost all magic users. There aren't a lot of people who can simply shape the power of Arcana by sheer will (Miss Katrinity for one). Unlike Mana (which fizzles or explodes if a wizard tries to handle its pure form) Arcana simply winks out without any effect if there is nothing to shape its power. Now exactly where is Minna getting the sheer willpower to shape her Arcana? Hmm….
