And there you have it, ladies and gents…the last page of the first issue. It's taken about exactly a year to complete, and I've gotta say, it's been fun. I tried to really push myself with this, both as a writer and an artist, and I'm very proud of the work I've done (even if the first half-or-so of the book now looks very strange to me.)
God willing–it will debut in print at A-Kon, in Dallas, Texas on the first weekend of June. If you're attending, I hope you'll come by and say hello! If you're one of those press-type people, and you'd like a copy of the book for review purposes, please send me an email about that.
After A-Kon–in preparation for the second issue–I'll be taking a brief stop in Watertown, South Dakota, which serves as that story's setting. Until I'm ready to show ya the pages, I'll share some sketches and developmental art with you, here. :)
Love and thanks to all my readers, new and old, who've let me take a few moments of your time this year, with my little story. I look forward to seeing all of you along the way for the next one.
