Caio changed the layout from my script for this page to break "What knife?" off on its own, then broke that panel out of the ordinary page frame into the bleed area at the bottom right, to give me what I consider one of the best single panels in the story.

It has a lot more visual umph this way than what I'd originally conceived, and Caio absolutely nails the expression I'd want for Clark here.

TheMidge28: The story looks like it's going to be a mystery at this point, but that's mostly unintentional. Things go in a different direction in issue #2.

Most of the material in this issue is to explore Clark, Ethel, Dennis, and their respective relationships – the assaults happening in the background acquired a "whodunit" air by happenstance as a framework on which to hang the story.

None of which probably makes much sense at this stage. You'll see when we get there. ;-)
