TheMidge28: I actually didn't read that as a double-meaning until you mentioned it, but it certainly does work that way given the character!

Rutger: If you just mean the name, we'll be finding out over the next page or two. If you mean the character – that's a long complicated story that's a long time in the coming. There'll be some more of his 1985 background in a flashback at the beginning of issue #2, and of course bits and pieces continue to be dropped in dialog over the rest of this issue.

Incidentally, I got an itch on Monday and started writing a MWWT prose short story. It's completed in rough form except for the last half of a final scene I'm on my way to write now, and I'm guessing the final version will be a little shy of 4,000 words. I'll probably spend one week polishing it, and will link it from an upcoming Spaceman page for anyone who's interested. Its title is MWWT: Five Pawns, One Knight, Two Kings. It takes us approx. 18 or 19 years into the future in Clark's world (to roughly the present day in our world) to give us a glimpse of where events in MWWT: Executive Matters will be headed.
