MWWT: Spaceman #1 pg21
barking_frog onOne of the great untold (to my knowledge) stories in comics is how the amnesiac Namor the Sub-Mariner got from WWII to 1962, when Johnny Storm of the Fantastic Four discovered him wandering the U.S. as a faceless nameless nobody and brought him into Marvel continuity.
For something like 13 years, one of the most powerful characters in the FF's universe wandered the country without knowing who or what he was.
In 1982 Alan Moore tackled the same issue in bringing Marvelman/Miracleman into the (then) present day.
In MWWT I found myself with a similar problem, getting a certain character from 1963 to 2006. See Wives and Lovers and Executive Matters for more.
Rutger: Check out the short story I should be posting in four days if I get it back from my final proofreader by then – it's a taste of the more frenetic side of MWWT.
DAJB: No, Ethel.
