Martin and Mitchell

ian_and_ian onMartin here. TWO NIGHTS AGO (FROM THURSDAY), I HAD A MARTIN AND MITCHELL DREAM. You know you need to seek professional help when you start having dreams about your webcomic. Anyway. My dreams are too long and too epic to fully remember, but here are some highlights I remember from the third act and the later part of the second: Mitchell and I sold worhtless portraits to gullible people, talked about the possibilities of an alcohol garden, fought off things that looked like zombies - but were intelligent and occasionally three stories tall - with the Battlefield 1943 weapons while driving in a convertible-tank, and Mitchell accidentally fell in love with Donna Slick, a female joker impersonator with Reed-Richards-like stretch powers, who was escaping from jail. If the dream had gone on longer, I bet Mitchell would have taken up her offer to go stay with her and start a life of crime. Needless to say, it was the best and most time I've ever spent with Mitchell, reality or fantasy.
But I digress. Onto the actual comic this week. For one thing, this comic is going to boost our rating. THE AGE RATING. We have graduated to the realm of M, as I believe dead babies are a no-no at the T level. Second of all, the art has changed! I tried using the line tool to get smooth, neat lines, but as usual everything went to hell, and the lines refused to coopoerate as I filled in the colour. I'll keep trying, thought, because I like the look of these lines better. I'm just not sure if I want to put up with this pagan ritual every week. I'll let you know what I decide next update. Also, new 3d backgrounds, for beauty and because I'm lazy.
I feel kinda bad because I can't show this comic to my mother, as she doesn't approve of swearing, zombies, and/or dead babies. To remedy this problem I will be releasing a second version of the comic as Martin and Mitchell: An E-rated Extravaganza of Appropriateness. More on that later.

Mitchell here. Not much to say, I just got home from work and I'm looking forward to about two hours of work for my sumamtive project for summer school, so I can't take much time here. Surprisingly, I was quite sober when I wrote this. Anyone who gets the dead baby/Best Buy reference gets a gold star. Again, Martin surpassed my expectations on this one.
