Plot-Holes
Marysueacademy onHello My Fellow Mary Sues and Gary Stus!
Commentary:
-Eeeeeeeaargh you're gonna hate us for this. ^_^;; *Hides behind a rock and sprays on flying rotten fruit repellant*
-We were going to explain everything in the comic, but figured that this way was funnier and more satirical. I know when I got the script for this I laughed my arse off.
-I love Mary in the last panel. Sooo bitchy. ^_^
-I also love All of Jess's expressions here.
-Goddamn that evil third panel. That took me FOREVER.
-Vittie's going to get banished - but that doesn't mean she's leaving the comic.
-This ends the Who Killed Tempest Dewstorm arc. A new arc next week!
PSST:
For the record, if you REEEEALLY wanted to know the details, here's the Glamour Potion thing that Jess figured out:
As anyone who has ever read Fantasy books would know, Glamour Potion makes things appear different to what they really look like. Chai stole the potion from a Diana Wynne Jones Fic, killed Tempest, and used the potion to make her appear burnt (thus framing the hunters and getting away scot-free). Vittie has known all along that Chai did it, and she's been trying to cover-up for her, hiding the glamour potion in a vase in her office (which was subsequently the secret passageway to the chamber where Tempest's body was hidden). One of Vittie's Mary Sue traits was a sociopathical lust for power and willingness to get ahead at all costs (as indicated in her Character Profile [on http://mary-sue-academy.deviantart.com] and her previous attempts to get at Mary through Dom) - but she's been developing as a character, and her emotional attempt to help out an old friend (albeit an evil one) was the final straw that separated her from the other Mary Sues. Chai however was still sociopathic and nasty, and didn't care whether Vittie went down for the crime she herself committed.
