Commentary: -The mum is a Jane Austen Sue and the dad is a pirate Stu. The dad was basically an excuse for me to draw a rip off of Guybrush Threepwood from the awesomeness that is Monkey Island. That and add some more cartooniness to the comic, I love mixing around the styles of each character. -The parents are not Jess and Arwen's biological parents (you'll know that if you've read Arwen's character bio), but Arwen and Jess are related. The only physical genetic trait that they share is they have the same dark curly tipped hair, which Jess has now dyed blonde. Over the years Jess's hair will literally begin to change - in other words it'll actually become blonde and spiky. Arwen will cut her curly tips off in order to look less like a Mary Sue. She's also really into eyeliner now. -Jess is eating pancakes. Woo!
