Nancy knows it's time to step in to avoid any further bloodshed. She also suspects that Jenn will not so wantonly kill another "aryan" To get Alaric to forget about the "not really an aryan" line she feels it's time to prove herself to him.

Which will lead to a love scene. About time you say? Yeah, I was hoping it was fifty pages ago too. Amazing how these things just drag themselves out forever. Don't worry there's only about 70 or so pages left.
