Of course it is an XXXL cat bed. I wonder in what kind of bargain sale she got that ;).

In my almost entirely shadeless style, depicting darkness is always a tricky issue, which is why I still keep experimenting with ways to do so. This time, I very carefully cut out the drawings with a pair of scissors and glued them to a piece of black cardboard. This is the lengths you'll have to go if you haven't got a proper graphics editor with more than just a crude rectangular tool. Anyway, I'm quite happy with the result, so this is probably going to be my method of choice. That way I can at least keep on boasting that my comic is 100% hand made.
