Photo Session

Well, as I already put most of the author's comments on the page, what else is there to say? :P

This page is dedicated to my father who displayed incredible patience in taking the photo I now used to update my TWC vote incentive. I decided to do so at least once a month from now on. This time it is a photo of Indy, my most valuable assistant, who sits next to me in the last panel. She writes at least half of the script even though I still have to help with the actual writing. ;)

Let me also state that I might have had a bit of trouble getting the pages done in time during the last few weeks, causing me to take the odd night shift. However it was nothing out of the usual, that I believe every webcomic artist knows only too well, and I normally wouldn't even mention it. In this case it just gave me a good premise for this photo session. Still, my comic-me is actually quite correct in what he says as I'm staying with Grandma and Indy over Whitsun, which may or may not mean plenty of time to draw for me.

I had a lot of fun drawing the "photos", especially because I found that drawing bad photos meant an extra challenge. For some reason using only pencils doesn't speed up things as much as one might think, but I found that on some special occasions like this one or e.g. the poem page it can make a great effect.
