The Sorceress' Apprentice (pt. 1)

This is my personal spoof on a famous poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
(1749-1832), that (at least in Germany) every schoolchild knows. Other
than the Disney cartoon my version is somewhat different to the
original, especially later in the plot. Nevertheless it draws heavily on
various 19th and 20th century translations.
Let me add that I basically do the same as Goethe here, as he himself nicked a much older story when he wrote it.
The magic runes all mean something and I'm too lazy to explain them now but I will do so if asked.
