This trick is not something I made up but based on a true story. As far as I know, today's forces train dogs of both sexes for that very reason. If they don't they should.
Seems like a sound plan to me, so far. Well, we'll see how it works out in practice next week. In any case it is a good excuse for drawing a few dogs for a change. I know that not everyone agrees with me but for me it's not a contradiction to like both cats and dogs as I do. I'm incidentally quite fond of wire-haired German pointers like "Daisy". They are much nicer than they look once you get to know them and their needs.
