Howdy everybody!

I'm working to get things wrapped up for the print version of Issue #1 here… trying to get some content going for it that's a little above and beyond what you get here on the web. Hopefully it turns out to be a cool little package. Any ideas, or stuff you'd like to see in it, let me know.

SDCC is coming up in a week or two here, but I won't be there. Turns out to be an alright plan since i don't have any comics printed yet anyway! Hopefully next year I'll be there. I AM planning to be at San Francisco's APE (Alternative Press Expo) coming up here in November. I'm pretty excited about that– they've cashed my check an everything! I'm also looking to be at WonderCon there too, probably in February (a remember the time when WC was in Oakland in April). So that should be fun.

Bummed that the National League lost the All-Star game again. What's that? 12 years in a row now? Oh well, I'm a Giants fan, so I'm used to disappointment!

Finally, JAZZCOP is our second winner here, in the "Figure Out Where Matt Ripped the Names of Stuff Off Of" contest (doesn't that have a great ring to it?)! Yep, he figured out that Ogom-9 is a homage to Mogo! Who's Mogo? Well Mogo is a whole planet that is a Green Lantern (yes, another one, yet people seem to miss the two part phonetic one I've hidden).

Jazzcop is actually the co-creator of Mastorism (though the planet names and whatnot are as big a mystery to him as they are to anyone else, so it's all fair). He and I started this story about 15 years ago, which now I'm re-working for all to enjoy! I'm the one doing the comics nowadays, but he's making some pretty rad music with Cleo's Apartment (yes that was a link), so y'all should go and check that out. Good music to draw to!

Alright… next week, lets take a trip to Wog'Kee'Lo!!!!
