Got in from WonderCon LATE last night and am still feeling a bit tired! What a fun fun fun exhausting, but FUN weekend! WOW! Mind blowing, really!
I was really glad to get to meet and chat with some of you online folks in person there, including some Drunk Duckers! Always great to put a face with a… well.. screen name!
Plus, hopefully some new/potential readers are on board now. I sold quite a few comics, gave away even more stickers, and heck, even gave some folks some free Mastorism original art trading cards (almost the only Mastorism orignal art in existence, mind you). So if you're new! Welcome!
And thanks even to everyone who didn't make it (as I know the overwheming majority of you are nowhere NEAR california) for all of your support.
Now that I'm back I'm going to work towards making the T-Shirts and comics available in sort of a package deal to order online, for anyone who's interested. The comics have been available through Indyplanet.com thus far, but I can't make any sort of special offers (especially ones that include products other than comics) through them– so I thought I'd set something up to make ordering comics more worth your while… more on that as it develops.
Alright, two weeks left on chapter 4, getting a little crazy here. Hopefully no one was expecting to see Jefe again this chapter! Moo ha ha! Speaking o which, I drew this page to illustrate the revolt of the people of Sector 5 (cool alien names, anyone?) against the Mastors, exemplified here by a generic human Mastor getting his butt kicked… I didn't think at the time that it might read as the human Mastor being Jefe (doesn't look like Jefe to me, but, with all the Jefe talk on the page, one might assume it is). So hopefully you don't read that as Jefe. Depending on the response, I may alter him to being an alien for the print issue. Thoughts!??!?
Thrusday… lots of information! And then next week, four words to close out the chapter!
Hey, anyone who's interested in doing fan art and/or guest pages (what kind of content, I don't know), go for it and/or let me know. I will most likely be taking a week or two off after this chapter ends before jumping into Chapter 5. I need to catch my buffer up a bit! Otherwise, let me know what you'd like to see from me (that involves little to no work! haha). I think I might post a short Hooks story, circa 1995ish… we'll see.
