Well, in case you missed my update last go around, Mastorism #4 is on sale at IndyPlanet.com can get that and all the the other issues of Mastorism here:

MASTORISM

Of course you can read it all for free here, but it's a good way to get caught up, plus there are little extras (exclusive cover art, the story of how Mastorism came to be (up to 4 parts now!), sketchbook pages, and other various nonsense), and frankly, its the only way I turn a dime on this here shebang… soo that's my sales pitch.

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! Also available for order is the new anthology comic I put together with my good pal Ben Ferrari! I wrote and drew an Explosion Proof story for this book that you won't find anywhere else, plus four other fantastic stories (that I had varying levels of involvement with). And, if you're really nerdy, you might care that I did pre-press, production, and graphic design for the issue too. You can get that baby here:

LADY FIGHT

Okay. The sales pitch is really complete this time. I do have another link. Ben and I have combined our comics forces into Earthbound Comics, and we've been slowly putting together a modest website, http://www.earthboundcomics.com/, which will be a constant source to keep up with our various projects!

MEANWHILE: Yeah, Matt punched DJ. I think some of you were more shocked than I expected, though I expected an amount of shock. So here's some info surrounding that, anyway. First off, remember that Matt, since first learning about Z-Squad leading the resistance in Sector 5, has been sinking into a rage, only compounded by the fact that it seems that Jefe may have gotten killed during the struggle. In Matt's mind there are only two outcomes for his trip to S-5: Rescue Jefe if he's alive, or avenge him if he's dead. Now, throw in the fact that the first person he finds there is DJ, who he last saw in a bit of a rage her self– toward Jefe (remember: she had wanted to become a Mastor, but was denied outright by Jefe). So by all means, an already enraged Matt here thinks that DJ quite possibly could be responsible for Jefe's death (though, if he were clear thinking he might have realized that fact has yet to be determined).

I'm not defending his action, and certainly not promoting the hitting of women (or hitting anyone, really for that matter), but I know that's about a years worth of history for the comic leading up to that punch, so, judging from the reaction, I thought I might do well to summarize that history to bring y'all up to speed on what's happening here at this point. I think if you had sat down and read this straight though (y'know, if you had bought the printed issues… hint hint!), a lot of those things would still be fresh in the mind, but alas, such is not the case.

SO, this week, I'll leave you with another crazy moment (that's thursday, I mean) that will either leave you shocked, scratching your head, or both. Things are getting interesting in Mastorism U. Today's page, I think, speaks for itself (thank goodness, I've typed so much already). I may revise that last panel a bit before this sees print. It worked in my layouts, but here, I think it would make more sense if Matt was a heck of a lot closer to DJ, considering he just punched her, right?

Also: Question for y'all. I've always responded to comments on the page that they appear, as a comment itself. I was wondering if you guys like that format, or if you think I should put the comment responses in the next page commentary (this space). I worry that people think I don't respond to their comments, and I pretty much try to do that every single time. So I was thinking about possibly changing that around. Let me know what you think!

Okay, enough, right? So thanks for reading and commenting! And I'll be back with a really cool page from Sector 5 on thrusday before we head back to Aerth!
