Alright… I'm super late for posting this (by that I mean, I'm an hour into the day on DD time), so I'm going to spare you all and keep it short. Well, actually, the reason why I'm running so late is because I spent forever responding to comments, so, I guess you're not really getting spared! MOO HA HA! So, anyhow, there might be some interesting nuggets in there, I dunno, check em out– I went off.
NEXT WEEK: Is John John really headed for the Dark Universe? Think I'm actually gonna tell you??!?!? Come back and find out!
Thanks for reading and commenting, everyone! And I'll catch you all on tuesday!

oldguy85 - Glad you're enjoying the story! Yeah, I like to type a bunch when it comes time to do the page commenatary. I figure, add some extra insight for folks willing to read my tangenty BS. Incidentally, I checked out your comic… some funny stuff!
AzuJOD - Heh! Actually I had intended WAAAAAAAY back in the prelude, on the page where the Dark Universe is first mentioned (page 4 I think) to make a half joke reason for why the Dark Universe was named such– but I think I couldn't keep it concise enough (hard to believe, I know). IT had something to do with the Destonians being able to tell its there, but no light reflecting off of it, or some such nonsense (see why I left it out). And since Mastorism U has no knowledge of the Destonians or their universe catalog, it would be a bit weird if they BOTH called it the Dark Universe (I guess weird is relative in this book).
repoman - Thanks! You know me, always trying to improve. I really need to focus on pumping up my composition skills, though– I always look at what you do, and then slap my forehead (sometimes more literally than others) and go "why didn't I think of that" – but everythings been coming together at some point, so I'll be there. But thanks for the compliment, coming from you, it means a lot!
Corey - Tuesdays and Thursdays like clockwork, buddy! Must be that jet lag! And, he may have broken loose, but its like breaking free of your handcuffs in a police station filled with cops! Thanks!
mushroom - Yeah, I wouldn't plan on working on your tan in the Dark Universe. ha! Actually, we'll see it eventually, and, hmmm… maybe it will suprise you!
trevor - I actually wrote and erased a diatribe about the pluses and minuse of getting instant feedback doing a webcomic on the comments for that page, because I knew at least a couple people were almost certainly expecting something different to happen here. But, a lot of this story arc is written out of love for the characters and what's come before in this story… once this wraps up, things are going to change. I'll leave it at that for now.
Jabali - True. I like to think you see both sides of all the characters in this comic. Except Z-Squad for some reason. Ususally you just see them kicking butt fighting the good fight. No wonder they're so popular!
theends - Hey I PQ'd you, but I'll repeat it briefly here. The inks (and actually my entire process (minus layouts) from "pencils") are 100% digital. It is my intent, though, to try and make it look as traditional as possible, and I try to avoid any dead give aways (aside from outright explaining it like I am now). So, I'll take the fact that there was a question in your mind about it as a compliment!
jazzcop - You know where this is going. Yeah where's Darker Image #2? That was like the epitome of the whole Image "late comics" thing. Worse than Pitt, even.
