Thanks for reading everyone, its been a GREAT ride, and I'm glad I got to share Mastorism with so many people. This was a story that I had been dying to get off my chest, and, whew. It feels good to finally finish it!
…What?!?! That really is the end. Okay okay… a VERY long epilogue begins next Tuesday, so don't worry! We'll be tying up several characters' stories in a series of two-page vignettes. Sound a little better?
You know I've been hinting that the end was coming soon, I don't know if anyone really caught on. So, but now I think its fair to tell you what's coming up for Mastorism. I have been going back and forth on what I want to do. I have a cool non-M project that I'm starting to develop– and I had toyed with the idea of taking a break– as in years– to do that before coming back to Mastorism (as obviously there's much more to tell here). Not to mention all the side stuff I've been doing (do I need to remind you all about Lady Fight?) But ultimately I've decided that, I'm not ready yet for my next big idea, I really love what's been happening with Mastorism– how that's been developing– and most of all, I really feel bad leaving ALL YOU hanging…
SO, after the epilogue comes to a close in the next month or two, I'm going to take a longer than usual "chapter break," which if anyone has any fill-in desires or ideas, let me know. I need to re-group. I want to do some additional art to release this full arc as a trade, and then get a sizable buffer of the new story under way before beginning posting again. So, consider that a "heads up" I suppose. I think I've got a really good Mastorism story lined up. Its the story that I originally wanted to start off with, but decided to tell this semi-backstory first. You can bet your hiney it involves SOMEONE kicking SOMEONE's patootie!
ALSO… for those of you still reading this rant: THE 2009 DD AWARDS are coming up, and I know I'm excited to nominate and vote for my favorite comics. So– y'know.. when you're voting, remember MASTORISM! I think the thing is actually opening up on the 24th… you can check it out here (fave it so you can keep up):
Even if you don't nominate me, participate and let everyone know what your favorite comics are!
I was going finally relay the big John John story from my youth that I've been waiting so as not to spoil the story, but I've written so much here, I'll spare you. TUESDAY we'll be back here kicking off the epilogue, where we catch up with a MAJOR PLAYER in this story that we haven't seen for– oh, maybe 2 or 3 chapters now (wow!). Wonder who that could be?
Thanks for reading and commenting, and just being so supportive and rad! See you all tuesday!

Comments!
Running a tad late, so I may be short… who knows!
azuJOD - would you expect John to be any other way?
Ben - Thanks! It was actually something I hadn't really done effectively before so It could have gone either way, but I think it worked. The key here was a dead line around the figures, and heavy shadows. If i had tried to vary the outline… it might have fallen apart.
darkwaterfrey - thanks! and Ditto what I said to Ben!
oldguy85 - hahah yeah. Maybe I'm getting old, but I can't stand getting messages or emails like "im w8ing 4u, lolz XD" rub me the wrong way. I could go on a tirade, but, why?
mushroom - Oh i'm sure John is secretly thinking "okay, yea that's kinda cool"
corey - Sorry you've been having trouble! What are you using? Looks to me like GIMP or Photoshop… I would give manga studio a whirl– I use "Debut" the cheaper version ($50 usd), and it does everything I want. The more expensive version lets you draw in vectors, which I don't care about, and has more export file types, but since I alreay have photoshop, I convert my files there when I need to. I think they might offer a limited trial, might be worth looking into… ha ha and I love sarchasm in general!
Trevor - Thanks!
Jabali - That is exactly what I love about him.
theends - thanks! Ditto what I said before.
repoman - Ah, I missed and endstone update I think… maybe not, I have to go look. I'm just remembering that outloud (er in my typing)– anyhwo, thanks and ditto my previous comments.
