So, I haven't had the chance yet to put those nifty badges up, but I'm please to announce that Mastorism took three nominations in the 2009 Drunk Duck Awards! Best Antagonist (Phantom Lord), Best Black & White Art, and Best Sci-Fi! WOW!
Naturally a BIG THANKS goes to all of YOU who have been supportive loyal fans, and for nominating Mastorism. Another big thanks goes to everyone involved in getting the Awards together. It's a totally volunteer effort (and a testament to the DD community) I know its no small feat, so from the top organizers to the judges, to the people announcing the awards, BIG THANKS just for putting this on. I wish I could be more involved, but alas I stretch the little time I have to its limits as it is. Nonetheless, I'm flattered, honored, and excited all at once…
Rounding out this week's little story I thought it would be nice to touch on each of Z-Squad's sort of mental position at the end of the story. They all are pretty much inclined to go to the Dark U, but all for different reasons. I'm hoping to get a chance at some point to do a story that is focused on Z-Squad at some point. I've written a bit of a treatment for a short story intended for Ben to illustrate, but we've got so much else going on, I dunno if that will pan out or not…
