(toaster prize* if you can guess where that comes from) Finally I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, with a number of projects. I'm always yapping about being busy, so what's been on my plate (aside from work and fam)??? We'll I've been getting Mastorism #5 ready for print (awesome cover, with colors by the fantastic Norman Wong, who also did #4), re-prepressing Ben's Sleepbringer (http://www.drunkduck.com/sleepbringer) to indyplanet's specs, lettering and pre-pressing Lady Fight: Escalation, and drawing an all new 8 page Explosion Proof story for LF: E. Whew! OH and drawing this here comic on its regular schedule too! Sheesh! Toldja I was busy! Anyway, a lot of it is coming together to a point where I'm past "Boy I sure this all comes together on time" to "Yeah, i think this is gonna work."
SO, I promised a character we haven't seen for a while, and here she is… it's D! Remember when we last saw here was briefly in Chapter 5 when she teleported Matt to Sector 5, where he basically went nuts, summoned evil entities, etc (what got him in the pickle to begin with). So while, becoming the Phantom Lord's right hand man might not be "getting off easy," it did allow him to re-unite with D.
Interesting fact: Remember last tuesday I said that I had saved over the original page with another page. Today's page is that page. I fair trade, I'd say!
Thursday will be the last we see of either of them, and then we take a brief trip to… well… we'll just say a dark place, before we make our FINAL check in with Mastorism U two weeks from today! DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!
