Well for anyone hoping to catch a glimpse of the Dark Universe, here it is. Once again, another two page bit of epilogue this week. This sequence has actually been re-thought, re-conceived, and re-written a number of times, for various reasons. Many of those reasons I can't quite reveal… yet. There are a number of paths that John's time in the Dark Universe will take– but I only had space to highlight one such path– ultimately, I felt this one made the most sense, given the time frame. I'll leave it at that.
I'm quickly approaching being finished (that's FINISHED) with this story (as in, I'll likely be done with the creative part by the time you're reading this). I'm starting to get this feeling like, "what am I doing taking a break?!?!" like there's going to be this huge hole in my week left by my posting days! Unfortunately, there's no way around taking this break. It has to be done. For me and for Mastorism. But, I'm looking into ways of remedying the posting hole. Hopefully more on that soon!
That said, I do have some work to attend to, so I'll leave it at that. This is the last page you'll see with John John. Thursday, more DARK Universe (a misnomer, as you can see, there is light in this universe). Next Tuesday, our last visit to the Mastorism Universe. Next Thursday, we travel to a universe we haven't seen in quite a while to close the story!!!
Thanks for reading and commenting! I'll see you in two days!

Comments! Here we go!
Mushroom - Time will tell, I suppose! Thanks.
oldguy - I tend to downplay the "love story" portion of things. Over the course of the story though, they become fairly chummy, and have "a moment," which is sort of followed up by this sequence that confirms that, yes, that was more than a moment– even if its really more about their opinion of the outcome of the war. For me, the focus of this story is what they're doing "on the job" which is why you never see anyone farting around in their downtime and whatnot.
jazzcop - Thanks! You know me, always striving to get better. I think this tops it for this portion of the story… But, in a few months? Lookout!
darkwaterfray - Thanks!
Inventive - Good to hear you've been reading! Thanks for the compliment, and I definitely will keep on!
wellsee - Thanks.
repoman - Thanks!
trevor - Thanks!
jabali - I wonder?!?! I'm leaving a lot of these epilogue bits open ended for the future stories.
DAJB - Don't sulk too much, I'm sure there will be plenty of future toast opportunities. Was A-Team a hit over there? Oh.. and thanks!
