Just re-watched the movie Sunshine the other day. I can't get over how awesome it was to start, and just how hard it did not need the sunburnt monster in the end.
It captured the loneliness of space just so nicely.

So I think my shading may be a little over dramatic, and I'm kind of regretting some of these facial expressions, but I think it's working so far. I feel like it's important to string people along a little while longer before explaining what's going on. I hope it'll feel a little more natural that way.
