And there's his Mosin-Nagant (rifle). It's a simplified version, of
course. If I ever do a singular illustration with it I might go out on
all the details. But, as far as the comic goes, it's best to be simple.
I'm gonna have to draw it a thousand times, after all.
Something you should know about this story: It is not an anti-gun story. The very reason why I chose a Mosin Nagant is because we own a couple.
The
rifle in this comic is pretty dang important, and sort of serves as a
vessel for Will's memories; good and bad. But I don't want to give
anything away, so I'll leave it at that.
