Looks like Will decided to nudge him awake instead of kick him. Best not to get them angrier than they already are.
So, what makes these brothers so gosh dang angry?
Well,
while I was designing them I thought that maybe the inter-species
dynamic is sorta like interracial dynamics in real life.
These two grew up in some intolerant town and just had a really difficult life.
Also. You notice how nobody in this world has a middle name and their last name is always just what their species is?
Well,
interspecies people do have middle names. They get the middle name "M"
for "mix" at birth to indicate one of their parents isn't what their
last name suggests.
So, a derogatory term for these guys would be "Ems".
And
that's my dark little side story. I won't mention anything about it in
the comic because this isn't their story. But, who knows! Maybe one day
I'll write in this world again?
