And we all know from the previous chapter that Will cherished that pinecone until he lost it somewhere. ;_;
A
lot of you have probably noticed this, but I thought I should point it
out: while the story in the comic moves forward, William's memories have
been pretty much moving backward (With the exception of the one with
Ian promising to find Willard's body). We started with Willard's death,
went to running away from the attack, to the moments before the attack,
and we're now in Willard's last winter.
What will the final flashback be?
