The breeding facilities for meatware are generally referred to as factories. Though it's basically a large lab. beast heads go through rigorous training of both body & mind, until they are matured enough to be sold. you may think it would be better to keep servants fairly dumb, but beasties possess a fairly high IQ. They do have to think for themselves to be able to assess threats on their own, and not violently attack anything without order. Their owners often use them for entertainment and not just raw strength. The high society of the Upper Levels hold to a rigid code of conduct, a beast head has to abide by these rules or bring shame onto his owner. In a way it may be more accurate to think of beast heads as really buff butlers.
