Happy hen pen.

Surro moms don't always have names, they refer to each other by title as Mother, Sister & Daughter. It's almost a bit like a cult. Daily "happy" stims for the adults included.

While they aren't allowed to leave their factory (or do anything that could pose a hazard to the unborn product), they do get a fairly chill life. Regular exercise, 3 meals a day, access to entertainment. Gotta stay healthy to carry healthy products. Prisoners in a golden cage.

Surro moms who get too old to carry babies are allowed to retire, they often stay in their factory and take care of the next generation of surro chicks. Either that or they get sold to become servant maids, nursery maid or something similar.
