He isn't hovering over his charge 24/7. Meatbot or not, even D. gets some time off to recharge his metaphorical batteries. Most of this time is spent on self-care and self-improvement.

Servant models may have access to selected media, the standards only include topics like what your field of work is, how your body functions, how to please customers, etc. It's up to your owner to grant you access to non-standard information like newscasts, history records, or even entertainment like cartoons & soap operas. Careful, it might put ideas into your quasi-slave. :^) We don't use the ugly S word tho.

Actually on that topic, if you're wondering how servant models ever came to be legal & morally justified, the argument was simple:

A slave is someone who is forced into servitude. A dog is not a slave. A dog is bred to be obedient and happy to be of service to its owner. Hence, a servant bred to serve is not a slave.
