The building in the background on Panel 2 is the school. It has bars on its windows because it used to be an old insane asylum. The bars were never taken off because a school is not a big change for it.

The other buildings in that panel are a funeral parlor, a drug store, and a bakery.

The house you see is based, at least in basic shape, on a house I used to live in. The scenery around it is just for show.

All in all, I'm very proud of myself for this one, after pretty much dragging myself kicking and screaming into the "Make some damn backgrounds!" possibility.

And after doing the sterile school with only a couple posters, some lame desks, and that HORRIBLE chalkboard, I'm happy to do a scenic piece.

By the by, you might recognize some coloration from Page 8 of Act I. Think of it as an homage.
